I was discovered in dancing back in 2nd grade and was frequently chosen to teach choreography for school events. I am proud to say that I am one of the members of Sinag Tala Theatre Guild’s first batch
SMAM helped me build my confidence in front of a large public and helped me conquer my fear as well whenever I’m sharing my talent and performing. Being a member of the SMA Chorale and having the opportunity to perform with my instrument during activities and events helped me a lot as a musician/performer today
My fondest memories would be practices for the Big Day Celebration as well as the actual event itself. Additionally, I would consider my time training for competitions such as DSPC and MACIPRISA to be an unforgettable memory.
Up to this day, I cannot express how much SMA’s “Big Day” impacted my life. It made me realize and live up to all my potentials. Even though my last one was almost a decade ago, I will never forget the passion, camaraderie and effort that went in on those days
Being able to represent SMA during outside the school competitions, taking on leadership roles, and of course the lasting relationships that were built inside our community helped me into becoming the person I am today—a star with much more confidence. These experiences have been pivotal in my personal growth journey, boosting my confidence and equipping me to handle public engagements, especially now in a university, with ease
It takes more than determination to become an honor student. Thanks to the guidance of my teachers and the motivation provided by my small group of friends and family, I was able to build the foundation of who I am now. Moving forward. I can look back and appreciate the good and even the undesirable memories I gained, and even if I am no longer a student at SMA, I still carry the knowledge, values, and pride of my school. I am the person I am at my new university because I can proudly say that I was, and will always be, an SMAer.
SMA will always have a special place in my heart because they were the first to really believe in me, especially during my MACIPRISA days. I will never forget how my trainers taught me how to be strong and more confident in myself and in my talents. It has helped me so much during my college and even landing my job at Uniqlo as a managerial candidate.
I honestly loved preparing for our large events like for Christmas and Big Day! I felt like our class would always really bond during that time. The relief and sense of accomplishment afterwards was always worth it.
The teachers and my classmates are kind. I miss the Big Day Celebration….I miss being a member of SMA Chorale. I miss caroling with my fellow companions in SMA Chorale.
As an SMAer who represented our school in various events, served as a student leader and built meaningful relationships, my fondest memory stems from the culmination of all these roles. Collaborating closely with fellow students and mentors created a network of support and inspiration that extends far beyond graduation. These experiences have shaped both my professional trajectory and personal growth, reminding me of the transformative power of education and community engagement brought by our dear Alma Mater, SMA.
My fondest memory in my SMA years is that I was able to express my talent in singing. Additionally, I learned how to play table tennis and represent our school in MACIPRISA, City Meet, and CLRRA. I’m grateful that SMA has been part of my journey.
In my time at SMA, I loved the preparations for big events like MACIPRISA, where you represent your alma mater. I also loved how SMA develops its students to have better confidence and higher self-esteem and helps them conquer their fears through giving them opportunities to perform in front of many people. Being a student in SMA is worth it!
As a proud alumnus of SMA, I can confidently say that my time here was transformative. The committed and persistent faculty members, vibrant community, and rigorous academic environment equipped and honed me with the skills and knowledge needed to be an ARTICULATE, HARDWORKING, and RESPONSIBLE student. My personal life has been and continues to be shaped by the invaluable experiences and lifelong connections I have made along the way. SMA was able to help me overcome my stage fright as I unleashed my talent and potential as a performer during Christmas parties and Big Day celebrations. I am grateful for the institution’s foundation, which led me down a path of accomplishment and ongoing development. SMA will always be my second home.
I was lucky enough to spend 3 years at SMA, till this day I always bring the same values that I have learned from my teachers and classmates in my everyday life.
I would rather share fond memories rather than just one, so here are a few. From preparing and performing in Big Days, representing the school as a Counselor, participating and repping the school in Maciprisa Tournaments, going into Subic for Regional competitions with my special group of friends and I will never forget those Guitar lessons hosted by Kuya Bedik and Teacher Mabel.
And lastly, I just want to give a huge shoutout to the woman that changed my ways of looking and tackling certain life situations, Teacher Lennie thank you for being the best Teacher / Mother for us, I am sure my classmates would say the same about you! You can teach every subjects, you can sing, you can dance, you can play the drums!!
And Huge shoutout to Teacher Nenette for stealing me away from MSM, best Headteacher ever! Sorry about getting tattoos 🫶🏽🫶🏽
